Flags of our Fathers was a movie based on a true story of war. The movie was based around one pictured that changed the world forever. Without the use of photography, these soldiers’ story would never be known.
Watching this movie really made a big impact on me. It made me realize how much people must go through to make sure our country stays free. These soldiers put their lives in danger for the safety of other people and for their country. People don’t understand how hard it is to fight and or die for our country, and this movie helped show how hard and all the troubling times people go through to keep our country. The photograph taken showed the country that we still had a fighting chance event though they had no idea what was really happening.
This during the time of the movie, and the topic of the movie, was this famous picture of soldiers putting up an American flag. This picture made a big impact on the country, as well as many other famous photos taken by various photographers. Photography has made a big impact on the world. It allows people to see what is going on. It shows what has happened through different times in history. Photography has been a way to show and prove the truth to nonbelievers. Photography is a very powerful tool and changed the lives of many in this movie.
The impact that photography has made is extraordinary. In the movie, they used photography to show people that the war was going well. It gave everyone hope. The thing is the picture didn’t show everything. People were left unknowing about the war and that is something that the photo could not show at the time. I believe that this photo changed the direction of the war. It gave many people and soldiers hope to keep fighting for what they believed in.
Although it is just history, the photo still gives people hope. The war was bad and gruesome, but they kept fighting for the beliefs they believed in. Therefore, photography is a gift to us and should not be abused or mistreated.
